The Importance of Measuring Local Governments’ Information Disclosure: Comparing Transparency Indices in Spain

Transparency is considered a key element for developing reliable government; it the ability that all public entities have to provide access their information. The main objective of this work test differences in transparency municipalities between indices and new index made following regulatory advances area at national level.
